HSE Engineer

Job description

The Health, Safety, and Environment Engineer is responsible for managing health, safety, and environment at the site. This includes developing HSE plans, regulations, and emergency response procedures according to Saudi standards. The engineer also organizes mandatory safety training, professional training, and emergency drills, and conducts daily tours to identify hazards and follow up on the closure of correction notices. The engineer supervises the behavior of subcontractors and their compliance with local requirements, and manages occupational health by applying personal protective equipment specifications and procedures for preventing occupational diseases. The engineer controls heat, dust, and noise hazards and organizes the treatment of waste and hazardous materials according to environmental requirements, and investigates near-miss incidents. The engineer prepares periodic reports and communicates with the Ministry of Labor and regulatory authorities

Requirements

• Proficiency in managing health, safety, and environment at the site
• experience in developing HSE plans, regulations, and emergency response procedures according to Saudi standards
• knowledge of organizing mandatory safety training, professional training, and emergency drills
• experience in conducting daily tours to identify hazards and follow up on the closure of correction notices
• proficiency in supervising the behavior of subcontractors and their compliance with local requirements
