Director of Operations

Job description

The role reports to the Accountable Executive and is based in Riyadh. Responsible for exercising operational control over flight operations under the AOC, owning the operations manual, ensuring compliance with operational specifications, and setting operational standards. Oversees flight dispatch, flight-time limitations, and flight‑crew standards. Acts as the operational liaison with GACA for approvals, audits and findings, and embeds the Safety Management System (SMS) within operations

Requirements

• at least 3 years supervisory/managerial experience within the last 6 years exercising operational control over Part 121‑similar operations (GACAR 121)
• at least 3 years experience within the past 6 years as PIC of a Part 121 aircraft for a first‑time Director of Operations (GACAR 121)
• hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate (GACAR 121.49(a)(1))
• full understanding of GACAR, operations specifications, applicable airworthiness requirements and the operations manual
• must be acceptable to GACA based on experience, competence and knowledge.
