Weight Bridge Operator

Job description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator to manage the weighing of incoming and outgoing trucks, maintain accurate records, and ensure smooth vehicle movement at the facility. The tasks include operating the weighbridge system for all incoming and outgoing vehicles, recording truck weights, vehicle details, material type, supplier/customer information, and quantities accurately, issuing and verifying weighbridge tickets and delivery documents, coordinating with Warehouse, Logistics, Production, and Security teams, checking delivery and dispatch documents against weighbridge records, monitoring and reporting any discrepancies in vehicle weight or documentation, maintaining daily weighing records and preparing reports, ensuring the weighbridge equipment and system are functioning properly and reporting any issues, following company safety, security, and operational procedures, and maintaining proper filing and documentation of all transactions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of experience as a Weighbridge Operator, preferably in a feed mill, manufacturing, agriculture, logistics, or industrial environment
• Basic computer skills, especially MS Excel and data entry
• Good numerical and record-keeping skills
• Ability to work shifts and handle high-volume truck movements
• Good communication and coordination skills.
