Job Description Overview: We are looking for a Civil Inspector experienced in Infrastructure (Roads & Bridges) projects. The inspector will monitor contractors’ work, verify adherence to specifications and approved drawings, and provide daily reporting to management. The position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to act independently while collaborating with the wider project team. Your role includes carrying out inspection on all road works in progress and ensuring contractor’s compliance with contract specifications and approved shop drawings, monitoring and daily reporting to line management contractor’s progress in all road activities, inspecting, checking, and recording that work is being executed in accordance with approved methodologies, checking that site instructions are being followed and reporting findings to R.E., and checking services locations and ensuring their protection

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in civil engineering
• Minimum of 10 years experience in the field of work
• Good communication skills in written and spoken - English essential
• Must have integrity, be flexible and proactive
• Must demonstrate ability to act independently as part of a team
• Carry out inspection on all road works in progress and ensure contractor’s compliance with contract specifications and approved shop drawings
• Monitor and daily report to line management contractor’s progress in all road activities
• Inspect, check, and record that work is being executed in accordance with approved methodologies
