Housekeeping Supervisor

Job description

Deliver exceptional hospitality by leading the housekeeping team. Train, schedule and oversee staff to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards. Conduct routine checkout inspections, spot checks of occupied rooms, and review service areas, storage and corridors. Coordinate maintenance issues and follow up promptly. Supervise periodic deep‑cleaning projects and special initiatives. Manage inventory and equipment maintenance. Provide excellent service, handling VIP and special guest requests

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: diploma or bachelor in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field
• Additional training or certifications in housekeeping, hygiene or health & safety a plus
• 1–2 years experience in housekeeping or hospitality
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in 4‑ or 5‑star hotel a plus
• Good command of English written and spoken
• Strong leadership and team‑management skills
• Ability to assign tasks, monitor performance and ensure compliance with standards
• Good knowledge of housekeeping operations and cleaning standards
• Ability to conduct room and public‑area inspections and follow corrective actions
• Knowledge of Lost & Found procedures and guest service standards
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and safe handling
• Understanding of health, safety and hygiene standards
• Strong communication, organization and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and in shifts including weekends and public holidays
• Basic computer skills
• PMS or housekeeping system experience a plus
