Weight Bridge Operator

Job description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator to manage the weighing of incoming and outgoing trucks, maintain accurate records, and ensure smooth vehicle movement at the facility. The role involves operating the weighbridge system, recording truck weights and vehicle details, and coordinating with Warehouse, Logistics, Production, and Security teams.

Requirements

• Operate the weighbridge system
• record truck weights and vehicle details accurately
• issue and verify weighbridge tickets and delivery documents
• coordinate with teams
• check delivery and dispatch documents against weighbridge records
• monitor and report any discrepancies in vehicle weight or documentation
• maintain daily weighing records and prepare reports
• ensure the weighbridge equipment and system are functioning properly and report any issues
• follow company safety, security, and operational procedures
• maintain proper filing and documentation of all transactions
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of experience as a Weighbridge Operator, preferably in a feed mill, manufacturing, agriculture, logistics, or industrial environment
• Basic computer skills, especially MS Excel and data entry
• Good numerical and record-keeping skills
• Ability to work shifts and handle high-volume truck movements
• Good communication and coordination skills.
