CIVIL 3D MODELER (UTILTIES)

Job description

Key Responsibilities: · Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for wet and dry utility networks using Autodesk Civil 3D. · Prepare utility layouts, profiles, cross-sections, and construction drawings. · Model wet utility systems including potable water, sewer, stormwater drainage, irrigation, and foul sewer networks. · Model dry utility systems including electrical, telecom, fiber optic, ICT, street lighting, utility corridors, and duct banks. · Develop utility structures such as manholes, chambers, catch basins, and handholes. · Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks. · Produce IFC, shop, and as-built drawings. · Update BIM models based on design revisions, RFIs, and construction requirements. · Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and client/local authority requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. · 3+ years of experience in Civil 3D utilities modeling for infrastructure projects. · Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, Navisworks, Inventor, Part Builder, Subassembly Composer, AutoCAD. · Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360 is preferred. · Understanding of BIM workflows, multidisciplinary coordination, and clash detection. · Experience in roads, utilities, and infrastructure projects within Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred. · Familiarity with Saudi authority standards and utility requirements is an advantage. · Knowledge of Revit and utility corridor coordination is an added advantage.
