Job Purpose: The Deputy Project Manager supports the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities to ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery. The role facilitates team communication, monitors progress, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, contributing to the successful achievement of project objectives. Key Accountabilities: Assist in planning, organizing, and managing project activities to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines. 2. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and provide regular updates and status reports to stakeholders. 3. Support the Project Manager in resource planning, task prioritization, and workload distribution. 4. Ensure all project activities comply with established requirements, quality standards, and organizational policies. 5. Collaborate with project teams to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks effectively. 6. Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records throughout all project phases. 7. Facilitate clear and consistent communication among project stakeholders to ensure coordination and alignment. 8. Assist in developing and monitoring project budgets, ensuring expenditures remain within approved limits. 9. Participate in project evaluations and post-completion reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. 10. Ensure alignment of individual and team efforts with the organization's strategic goals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement to achieve desired outcomes. 11. Perform any additional duties or tasks assigned by the direct supervisor, as required to support departmental and organizational objectives. Job Specifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in project management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years in project management or coordination roles.
• Professional Technical Certificate
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Problem-solving and risk management expertise.
• Ability to manage budgets and track progress.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
