Sr Production Specialist

Job description

the employer, the leading global developer of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets is seeking a Sr Production Specialist who will manage and lead the shift which is responsible for all aspects of operating, preparing (mixing), filling, packaging, and tote washing. The incumbent should have the ability to perform any of the tasks within the production department, with the exception of material handling, mixing and bulk receiving/shipping. Other responsibilities include: entering production data accurately into the warehouse management system, reporting damages and discrepancies for accounting and record-keeping purposes, and recommending measures to improve departmental productivity and efficiencies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Three years of previous experience in Chemical plant or warehouse
• Two years of previous experience with Reaction chemistry
• Basic English language, reading and writing
• Outlook experience
• Ability to use basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers, fractions, percentages, and decimals
• Forklift Driving

• Ability to meet physical requirements of position
• Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam
• Have basic skills to operate and maintain the equipment of packaging, filling and mixing
• Based on a familiarity with packaging, filling, mixing equipment and working environment
• Good time-management, strong attention to detail, good communicator and a team member
• Ability to complete training and master skills that are required by position
• Experience with Total Production Management (TPM) & Continuous Improvement Systems
