Housekeeping Supervisor

Job description

Your role focuses on brightening guest experiences by maintaining hotel cleanliness. Supervise, train, and schedule the housekeeping team to ensure room quality. Conduct routine inspections of rooms and public areas and follow up on maintenance. Coordinate deep‑cleaning projects and manage inventory and equipment. Ensure VIP guest requests are met and deliver outstanding service

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred diploma or bachelor’s in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field
• Additional training or certifications in housekeeping, hygiene or health & safety is a plus
• 1–2 years experience in housekeeping or hospitality
• Prior supervisory or team‑lead experience preferred
• Experience in 4‑ or 5‑star hotel a plus
• Proficient in English written and spoken
• Strong leadership and team‑management skills
• Ability to assign tasks, monitor performance and ensure compliance with standards
• Good knowledge of housekeeping operations and cleaning standards
• Ability to conduct inspections and follow up corrective actions
• Knowledge of lost & found procedures and guest service standards
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and safe handling
• Understanding of health, safety & hygiene standards
• Strong communication, organization and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and in shifts including weekends and holidays
• Basic computer skills
• Experience with PMS or housekeeping systems is an advantage.
