Senior Specialist, Operation and Control Technologies Platform Engineer

Job description

This role supports the design and governance of the operation and control technology platform architecture by transforming enterprise architecture standards into practical guidelines. Ensures systems integration, scalability, security, and compliance with an enterprise architecture orientation in complex industrial environments. Contributes to the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture principles, platform standards, and reference architectures. Translates engineering vision and plans into actionable guidelines for engineering teams. Participates in architecture reviews and ensures designs conform to standards, identifying risks such as fragmentation and unmanaged technical debt. Supports governance decision making by documenting design choices, balances, and constraints. Applies defined integration patterns and reference architectures across OT, control, data, AI, and enterprise systems platforms. Promotes reusable architectural patterns to reduce redundancy and improve consistency. Works closely with domain and platform engineers and engineering teams to coordinate designs and clarify requirements, dependencies, and operational constraints. Develops and maintains engineering documents and reference drawings
