MH-60R Avionics Technician

Job description

The incumbent performs Planned Maintenance Interval inspections, organizational, intermediate, and depot level maintenance on MH-60/H-60 helicopters. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of major and sub‑assemblies, wire and connector replacements, inspection, troubleshooting and corrective actions on radar, communication and navigation systems. Operates all ground support equipment and prepares required documentation per NAMP. Provides on‑the‑job training for Saudi technicians and maintains training records

Requirements

• Have a knowledge of electronic theory
• Must have a thorough knowledge of digital/analog computers
• Current or previous experience in complex helicopter electrical work
• Ability to solve complex problems that pilots face while flying
• A comprehensive understanding of flight characteristics and their impact on electronic systems
• Ability to read and interpret charts
