Front End Washer Mechanic

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled mechanic to maintain and troubleshoot specialized machinery within our can manufacturing facility. This role ensures optimal performance and reliability of our front-end washing equipment. Job Responsibilities: • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative measures on front-end washing machines and related auxiliary equipment. • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on washers, dryers, and associated conveyance systems. • Troubleshoot complex machinery malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. • Execute scheduled and unscheduled repairs, including component replacement, alignment, and calibration. • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to aid in troubleshooting and repair activities. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. • Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine performance and efficiency. • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs

Requirements

• Proven experience with the maintenance and repair of industrial washing equipment or similar automated machinery
• Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Excel
• Effective communication
• Attention to detail
• 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
