QC Supervisor - Procurement

Job description

the employer announces the need for a QC Supervisor - Procurement in the Eastern Region. Responsibilities include overseeing procurement activities, preparing Inspection Assignment Packages, managing the inspection team, providing technical support to the project team, conducting quality surveys, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards, reviewing and interpreting project specifications, preparing inspection reports, identifying non‑conformances, supporting corrective actions, evaluating quality issues and preparing root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions. Review and expedite inspection release documents from manufacturers to align with ROS. Coordinate with site MRIs, VID and vendors to address any concerns during site material receipt inspections. Verify that materials and equipment meet purchase order requirements and are suitable for intended use. Oversee quality control inspections and tests on materials and equipment in accordance with Saudi Aramco Technical Specifications, schedule quality requirements and standards. Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco Procurement and Supply Chain Management Manual and related procedures. Collaborate with contractors, suppliers and Saudi Aramco personnel to resolve quality issues and ensure timely delivery. Maintain accurate records of procurement quality control activities per Saudi Aramco document control guidelines. Conduct vendor evaluations and pre‑qualification assessments per Saudi Aramco Vendor Qualification Program
