Health, safety and environment officer to work in the Riyadh region.. Type of work: full time Health and safety officials are responsible for implementing plans to improve work environments and cultures. They assess risks and conduct interviews with employees to ensure that the working environment complies with health and safety rules, as well as ensuring that interaction within the workplace occurs in a positive and productive manner. If working in a healthcare facility, the Health and Safety Officer must investigate the spread of infection through the facility and advise all staff on how to control and prevent infection. Furthermore, health physics is applied in facilities where people are exposed to ionizing radiation such as nuclear power plants and research institutions
