About the Role the employer is looking for a Neurophysiology Technician to join their team, Mecca, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves performing a range of neurophysiology procedures to support neurological diagnosis and patient care. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine short-term EEG recordings and long-term video EEG monitoring. Perform bedside EEG recordings as required. Conduct nerve conduction tests. Perform evoked potential tests, including visual and somatosensory tests. Assisting neurologists with advanced EMG, NCV and VEP procedures. Writing and completing reports for each patient. Arranging appointments for PSG, PAP titration, EEG, EMG-NCV, and VEP. Perform routine equipment care, maintenance and stock assessment in collaboration with the Biomedical Engineer. Report any safety or operational concerns to the Head of the Neurosciences Department. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures when appropriate. Ensure that all procedures are carried out in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications and Experience Complete training in neurophysiology procedures at a hospital setting or a pre-employment training session from an accredited facility. Experience as a Neurophysiological Technician or EEG/NCV/EP Technician with documented proficiency in all required competencies. For a senior Neurobiology Technician role, at least 5 years of experience as a Neurophysiology Technician or EEG/NCV/EP Technician with documented proficiency in all required competencies is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word is required Mandatory. Typing skills 20 words per minute or higher. Work Environment This is a full-time position based in, Mecca, Saudi Arabia, within a healthcare environment focused on neuroscience.
