Operations Manager

About the Role the employer is looking for an Operations Manager to lead plant operations and laboratory functions. This full-time position is based in Makkah, specifically covering locations in Rabigh and Makkah. The role focuses on ensuring safe, reliable and efficient production in line with contractual, quality, health, safety and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities Lead all plant operations, including power generation and/or water production, to achieve production goals. Ensure smooth, safe and efficient daily operational activities. Solve critical operational problems and work to reduce downtime. Develop and implement operational strategies consistent with plant objectives. Supervising production planning, scheduling and performance monitoring. Report operational performance, risks and improvement initiatives to senior management. Lead, develop and manage operations teams, typically consisting of 30 to 100 employees. Set clear goals and achieve high performance and engagement within teams. Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure effective preventive and corrective maintenance. Support planned outages, ensuring safe shutdown and restart procedures. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE standards. Lead incident response and ensure appropriate reporting and implementation of corrective actions. Monitor plant performance to identify opportunities for efficiency and reliability improvements. Implement operational improvements and best practices. Supervise laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Monitor production parameters to maintain optimal performance. Managing operational contracts and ensuring effective service delivery for cost. Supervising inventory of chemicals, consumables and equipment. Qualifications and Experience At least 10 years of experience in a relevant operational leadership role. - Demonstrated ability to manage large operations teams. Strong understanding of production objectives, quality control and HSE standards. Work Environment This role is located in Makkah, and responsibilities extend to the facilities in Rabigh and Makkah. It is a full-time position within a dynamic operating environment
