Job description

Responsible for maintaining the golf course to the highest standards of playability and aesthetics. The role includes upkeep of greens, fairways, bunkers, and implementation of sustainable practices to improve course quality. Duties: maintain greens, fairways, bunkers, repair cart paths, assist with tree and shrub landscaping, inspect and service equipment, coordinate repairs with the mechanic, follow health and safety protocols, remove hazards promptly, support water‑conserving landscaping practices.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years experience in golf course maintenance or turf management
• proficiency in operating turf maintenance machinery (mowers, tractors, sprayers)
• basic knowledge of turfgrass species, pests, and diseases
• ability to apply fertilizers and pesticides safely in line with local regulations
• valid pesticide applicator certification is a plus
• ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• physical stamina for manual tasks including lifting, bending, and walking
