About the Role the employer is looking for a Radiology Technician to join its team in Riyadh. The incumbent of this position is responsible for setting up X-ray imaging equipment, preparing patients, operating equipment to extract and print X-ray images, in addition to preparing and submitting work reports. This role is available full time and requires 0 to 1 year of experience. Key Duties and Responsibilities Inspect X-ray equipment regularly to ensure its readiness and safety. Providing and monitoring necessary imaging supplies such as films and medications. Take all necessary personal protective measures to protect oneself and patients from the dangers of radiation. Organizing patient appointments to ensure efficient workflow. Accompanying patients to the x-ray room, accurately identifying the parts of the body to be imaged, and determining the nature of the x-ray image and the required x-ray specifications based on the treating physician’s request. Install lead sheets to protect body parts that should not be exposed to radiation. Directing and adjusting imaging devices, choosing the appropriate duration and intensity of exposure to radiation, then taking radiographs. Show and fix the radiographs, fix the basic information on them, and present them to the radiologist. Preparing and submitting periodic work reports, documenting and storing them in an organized manner. Qualifications and Experience Practical experience ranging from 0 to 1 year in the field of radiography. Ability to operate and maintain X-ray equipment. Good knowledge of safety and radiation prevention procedures. Required Skills Accuracy and attention to detail in preparing radiographs. Organizational skills to manage appointments and reports. Ability to communicate effectively With patients and colleagues.
