About the Role the employer is looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on identifying and assessing occupational hazards, and developing and implementing safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for employees. Main Responsibilities: Study the work environment and identify chemical, physical, radiological and biological hazards at work sites. Proposing effective methods and procedures to avoid the effects of potential risks on workers. Referring workers for periodic medical examination to ensure that they are not affected by occupational diseases. Measure and examine lighting, ventilation, and noise levels at work sites and compare them to acceptable levels. Recommending corrective actions necessary to improve working conditions. Monitor and follow up on procedures for disposing of the employer and solid industrial waste to avoid its effects on environmental health. Developing work methods and procedures and keeping pace with developments in the field of occupational health. Preparing documents and reports related to occupational health and keeping them in its database in accordance with regulating policies and procedures. Ensuring the application of public safety principles and rules while carrying out various occupational health work. Qualifications and Experience Practical experience ranging from 2 to 5 years in the field of occupational health and safety. Ability to identify chemical, physical, radiological and biological hazards. Good knowledge of acceptable lighting, ventilation and noise standards and levels. Ability to prepare and archive professional reports and documents. Work Environment This role is full-time and based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The specialist will work within a specialized team to ensure the highest standards Health and safety at all work sites.
