About the Role the employer is looking for a Customs Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. The incumbent of this position is responsible for preparing and developing customs operations and activities, in addition to studying tariffs, duties, and customs exemptions. The role aims to ensure full compliance with applicable customs laws and regulations. Main tasks and responsibilities: Study specialized experiences and practices related to customs procedures, evaluate the possibility of benefiting from them, and submit recommendations and proposals to adopt the best modern methods and practices. Preparing and implementing customs operations plans, in full compliance with relevant Saudi laws, and following up on their implementation and application process. Providing appropriate recommendations to the public administration related to customs tariff calculations, clarifying obstacles and problems, providing appropriate solutions to them, discussing them, and supervising their application and implementation. Reviewing customs forms and models in accordance with international and local treaties and agreements, developing work methods and procedures, and procedures for granting permits and customs exemptions. Preparing specialized documents and reports related to customs operations, presenting appropriate recommendations and appropriate solutions, presenting and clarifying them, and saving them in its database in accordance with the approved policies and procedures. Qualifications and Experience: Experience ranging from 0-1 year in a field related to customs operations. Good understanding of tariffs, duties and exemptions. Ability to prepare specialized documents and reports. Required Skills Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability. Ability to work effectively within a team. Communication skills Excellent written and orally. Commitment to accuracy and detail. Work Environment This role is full time and based in Riyadh. The customs specialist will work within a specialized team, which requires continuous cooperation and coordination to ensure that customs operations run efficiently and effectively.
