Shipping Clerk

About the Role the employer is looking for a Shipping Clerk to join its team in Riyadh. The incumbent of this position is responsible for recording data on receipt, shipment and unloading of goods, reviewing incoming and outgoing goods, in addition to preparing shipping documents and settling matters related to insurance and customs. Main tasks and responsibilities: Record data on receipt, shipment and unloading of goods in the appropriate records. Reviewing incoming goods based on shipping invoices and other documents, reviewing the components of the goods prepared for shipping and studying shipping cost category tables. Arranging the process of collecting the goods and ensuring that the address and destination are correct. Preparing shipping documents, and settling matters related to insurance, customs, itinerary, and delivery. Follow a system for tracking shipping and receiving operations, including receiving beneficiary signatures for the goods received. Full compliance with procedural manuals, regulating policies and procedures, and health and safety rules. Qualifications and Experience: 0-1 year experience in a related field. Ability to accurately record data and organize records. Good knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures. Required Skills: Excellent organizational and administrative skills. Ability to review documents and documents accurately. Good communication skills to receive beneficiaries’ signatures. Adherence to regulatory policies and procedures. Work Environment This role is a full-time position based in Riyadh. You will work within a team supporting shipping and logistics operations.
