Operations Manager - F&B

Job description

The Operations Manager – F&B in Riyadh oversees daily outlet performance, builds high‑performing teams, controls costs, maintains service and food quality standards, and supports growth plans. Responsibilities: own day‑to‑day operations of outlets; ensure outlets meet operational, financial and service targets; track sales, profitability, labor and food costs and KPIs; lead outlet managers, supervisors and frontline teams; establish effective staffing, scheduling, training and performance management; monitor purchasing, stock levels, inventory movement and waste; maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, safety and customer service; identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions; partner with Finance, HR, Procurement and Marketing to improve operations; ensure compliance with Saudi food safety, labor and operational regulations; support new outlet launches and expansion initiatives; develop SOPs and improve processes as needed; prepare regular reports on performance, challenges and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, F&B Management or related field
• 7+ years of relevant F&B experience
• minimum 3 years in a managerial role
• experience overseeing multiple F&B outlets or large‑scale restaurant operations
• strong understanding of P&L, budgeting, food and labor cost control and inventory management
• demonstrated experience managing and developing F&B teams
• strong operational planning and execution skills
• excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management abilities
• strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
• familiarity with the Saudi F&B market and regulatory environment
• fluency in English
• Arabic language skills are a plus
• previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC is preferred
