Job description

As a Magento Developer you will develop, customize and maintain e‑commerce websites built on Magento 2. This remote part‑time role involves project‑based or monthly contracts to deliver reliable, secure and high‑performance online shopping experiences. You will customize storefronts, develop modules, integrate third‑party services and resolve technical issues to ensure seamless functionality. You will work with web technologies to improve performance, usability and security while meeting project requirements. Collaboration with team members ensures quality delivery within agreed timelines and adaptation to evolving business needs.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of hands‑on experience in Magento 2 development, customization and maintenance
• proficient in PHP and MySQL for e‑commerce functionality
• practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML for storefront customization
• experience customizing Magento themes, modules, extensions and storefront components
• understanding of third‑party API, payment gateway and shipping service integrations
• ability to identify and resolve technical issues, debug code and improve website performance
• awareness of website security practices and maintenance
• strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and ability to produce clean, maintainable code
• effective communication and collaboration skills to understand requirements and work independently when needed
• good time‑management and ability to meet deadlines in a remote setting
• availability for part‑time contractual work with flexibility for project‑based or monthly engagements
• immediate availability preferred
