Job description

This is an official position in pediatric dentistry. Duties include providing basic dental health care to children. Location in the eastern region General overview of the profession: Diagnosing oral and dental diseases for children, preparing the treatment plan, performing dental treatments, following up on the preparation and installation of dental prostheses, treating gum infections, performing minor oral surgeries, prescribing treatments and medications, and preparing and archiving medical documents and reports related to dental work. Usual tasks for this profession: • Conducting an examination of the child’s mouth and teeth, identifying and analyzing the necessary radiographs, diagnosing the pathological condition of the mouth and teeth, and preparing a treatment plan and its schedule. • Preparing and applying fillings to the child’s deciduous and permanent teeth, treating the pulp canals of children’s teeth, cleaning the teeth, and removing lime deposits. • Examine gums, diagnose gum diseases, treat gum infections, perform minor oral surgeries, and prescribe treatments and medications • Developing work methods and procedures and keeping pace with developments in the field of dentistry • Preparing reports and making recommendations to improve public dental health and reduce the risks that threaten it.
