Director of Housekeeping

Job description

We are seeking a Director of Housekeeping to lead our Housekeeping team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will be responsible for overseeing all Housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, presentation, and safety throughout the hotel. You will develop and implement effective departmental strategies, manage budgets and operating expenses, optimize productivity, and ensure the efficient allocation of resources. Working closely with the Director of Rooms and other hotel leaders, you will drive guest satisfaction, develop and motivate the Housekeeping team, and ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and applicable health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field is preferred · Significant experience in Housekeeping operations within a luxury hotel environment, including leadership experience at a senior management level · Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop large teams while maintaining high standards of performance and employee engagement · Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, room inspection standards, public area maintenance, and inventory management · Demonstrated experience in budgeting, cost control, resource planning, and departmental financial management · Excellent organizational, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
