Oracle APEX Developer

Job description

The role involves developing, customizing, maintaining, and enhancing Oracle ERP / Oracle E-Business Suite applications based on business requirements. Design and develop Oracle APEX applications, forms, reports, dashboards, and workflows integrated with ERP/EBS. Create and maintain custom Oracle Forms, Reports, and OAF solutions. Implement integrations between ERP/EBS and internal or external systems using REST APIs and Web Services. Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutions. Develop database objects using PL/SQL. Configure and customize AME approval groups, rules, and workflows. Support and customize HCM techno-functional requirements across various HCM modules. Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver appropriate technical solutions. Troubleshoot issues related to applications, integrations, workflows, and databases. Perform technical analysis, debugging, testing, deployment, and production support. Produce technical documentation and ensure compliance with development, security, performance, and coding standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field
• 5+ years solid experience in Oracle development, preferably in an ERP/EBS environment
• strong hands-on experience with Oracle ERP / Oracle E-Business Suite
• strong hands-on experience with Oracle APEX including application, form, report, and workflow development
• proven experience integrating Oracle APEX with Oracle ERP/EBS
• strong experience with Oracle Forms, Reports, OAF, and PL/SQL
• practical experience developing integrations using REST APIs and Web Services
• hands-on experience with AME including approval groups, approval rules, and customized workflows
• solid HCM techno-functional experience with practical knowledge of Oracle HCM modules
• proven experience working across the HCM track from technical and techno-functional perspectives
• strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• ability to work effectively with functional consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders
