Banking Integration Tester

Job description

Design, prepare and execute test cases and integration scenarios. Verify end‑to‑end integration between bank applications, middleware, APIs and external systems. Analyze functional requirements to determine test needs. Perform system integration testing, regression testing, smoke testing and functional testing. Document, track and validate defects using defect‑management tools. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, solution engineers and project managers. Validate API requests and responses using testing tools. Ensure data consistency across integrated systems and databases. Participate in requirement reviews and provide testing feedback. Support user acceptance testing activities when needed. Ensure testing activities align with banking quality standards and project schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field
• over 4 years of software testing experience with strong focus on integration testing
• prior experience in banking or financial services preferred
• hands‑on experience testing and integrating Temenos T24 preferred
• solid understanding of Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• hands‑on experience testing APIs using Postman, SoapUI or similar tools
• good knowledge of SQL for database verification
• experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps or equivalents
• strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• excellent communication and documentation skills
