Sr. Static Technician

Job description

Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman. May assume some Pipefitting Foreman responsibilities on smaller projects. Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities. Moves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up the work site. Lays out, fabricates, and assembles pipes and piping system components. Installs, maintains, and repairs pipes, pipe systems, and associated structural components supporting plant construction and maintenance. Provides leadership, instruction, and guidance to lower‑level craftsmen and may reassign work delegated by the supervisor. Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs cleaning and housekeeping activities. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, wearing required personal protective equipment. Performs other duties as directed.
