Principal Technical Professional - Specialty Engineering

Job description

Researches, designs, develops and analyzes specialty systems such as signaling and imaging, radio frequency, optical, etc. Develops requirements analysis and system architecture and supports the development of complex systems. Performs analyses and prepares documentation related to the specialty discipline. Analyzes test and production data, prepares technical analysis, and recommends engineering methods and processes to meet design objectives for new or improved products and/or processes. Applies research of complex systems to achieve desired outcomes. Requires in‑depth knowledge and experience. Solves complex problems and recommends best practices. Works independently with guidance only in the most complex situations. Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives. May advise multidisciplinary teams or run projects. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 7 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Location: Eastern Region.
