Crisis and Emergency Management Director

Job description

Responsible for developing, planning, implementing and monitoring crisis management, emergency response and business continuity, health and safety programs for the employer Ensures compliance with national and international requirements, industry best practices and the employer standards to reduce risks to people, operations and assets. Oversees the crisis and emergency response plan implementation, coordinates drills and simulations, maintains and updates the crisis management manual, approves initial and final crisis reports, identifies training needs and delivers workshops and seminars, enhances management capabilities and monitors business continuity plan development providing guidance.

Requirements

• Experience in crisis management and emergency response
• Experience in business continuity and health and safety
• Proficiency with national and international requirements for industry best practices
