Civil and Structural Technical Manager

Job description

The role focuses on directing and ensuring civil and structural quality in complex projects. Leads the civil, structural, geotechnical and infrastructure engineering team. Defines design standards and supervisory procedures. Plans review workload and coordinates delivery priorities with package managers and program planning team. Reviews and approves consultants' and contractors' calculations, drawings and reports and verifies their engineering basis. Evaluates foundation, structure and infrastructure interfaces and the relationship of geotechnical recommendations to design assumptions. Solves complex technical issues and leads multidisciplinary workshops on constructability, coordination and risks. Coordinates civil and structural engineering interfaces with architectural, mechanical, electrical and security requirements
