Senior Software Quality Engineer - Backend Interfaces

We are one of the largest travel and transportation companies in the region and are undergoing a massive digital transformation. As a Senior QA Engineer at Seera you will join a large QA team focused on delivering the best customer experiences through your testing skills and ensuring fast, reliable software. You will think quickly, collaborate with engineers, product managers, and scrum masters to identify issues and bugs. You will leverage your full expertise, be exposed to the latest technologies and testing techniques, introduce new tools and frameworks, solve customer problems for seamless experiences, and work in a fully autonomous environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years hands‑on experience testing APIs
• 3+ years hands‑on experience with automation frameworks such as Rest assured
• familiar with testing methodologies/types and when to apply each
• programming experience required, e.g., Java
• non‑functional testing experience (load, performance, usability) using Jmeter, Gatling or Vegeta
• professional experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle
• experience with source control and CI/CD tools like Git, GitHub or Jenkins
• experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Runscope
• excellent communication skills for succinctly explaining technical problems
• willingness to challenge existing practices to improve them.
