Job description

The role: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Analyst to join our dynamic team at Dtex Systems Pty Ltd. Responsibilities include monitoring security alerts and logs to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, conducting thorough investigations of security incidents, determining their impact, and coordinating appropriate response actions. You will develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures, perform regular vulnerability assessments, and assist in implementation

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM tools
• proficiency in Excel
• Git
• effective communication
• attention to detail
• compliance
• vulnerability analysis
• a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field
• relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
• minimum 3-5 years of experience in security analysis or a similar role
