Lead Software Engineer - Financial Services

Job description

We are the employer, a leading restaurant management ecosystem and payment tech provider. The role builds money products that enable restaurants and merchants to run their businesses, covering payments, capital, and cash‑flow tools. You will own problems end‑to‑end, identify gaps, shape product direction with product, design, risk and compliance teams, set technical standards for real‑money systems, lead the AI‑first transformation, mentor senior and mid‑level engineers, and choose the right technologies for each challenge.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• proficiency in designing backend services, data models, and building solid front‑ends
• proficiency in product mindset focusing on user and business outcomes
• proficiency in multiple languages and tech stacks with quick learning ability
• proficiency in AI‑first workflows using coding assistants and LLM APIs daily
• proficiency in distributed systems, APIs, and databases
• proficiency in clear communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• proficiency in high ownership and handling ambiguity
• experience in fintech, payments, lending, or other regulated domains (PCI DSS, SAMA, or similar)
• experience with B2B or merchant‑facing products
