About the Role: the employer is seeking a Lead Specialist, Engineering and Virtualization to join their team in Riyadh. The role enables the Data & AI strategy by delivering secure, scalable, high‑performing platform and virtualization environments. Responsibilities: deliver secure, scalable, high‑performance virtualization and platform environments for critical applications; optimize platform capacity, availability and performance; strengthen infrastructure resilience through lifecycle management; enable Data & AI workloads via robust architecture; accelerate deployment and integration of data platforms, analytics and AI solutions; ensure platforms support evolving business needs; improve service stability through monitoring and automation; reduce complexity via standardization; enhance incident response and root‑cause management; maintain compliance with technology and cybersecurity standards; strengthen platform security through controls and vulnerability mitigation; minimize operational risk via proactive assessment; drive adoption of emerging virtualization and cloud technologies; identify automation opportunities; promote best technical practices; build partnerships with technology teams, vendors and stakeholders; provide technical leadership and subject‑matter expertise; develop organizational capability through knowledge sharing and guidance

Requirements
