Deputy Resident Supervision Manager

Job description

Join the employer to support the Resident Supervision Manager and lead a construction supervision team of about 20 engineers and inspectors on a major infrastructure project, focusing on MEP works. Act on behalf of the Resident Supervision Manager in his/her absence, lead reviews of Method Statements for constructability compliance, be the final approver of contractor construction submittals, manage team workloads across a diverse project scope of inspections and surveillance, monitor contractor progress and flag potential delays to the FIDIC Engineer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related construction field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in field construction
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and construction contract administration
• Experience with water treatment plants, HVAC systems, district cooling, utilities, or municipal facilities
• Strong MEP experience, preferably in water treatment plants, HVAC, district cooling or similar projects
• Broad understanding of construction methods and techniques with specialization in MEP or CSA works
• Prior experience as a Deputy or Resident Construction Engineer or similar role
• Disciplined and methodical
• Experience on major infrastructure or complex MEP construction projects
