Store Development Engineer

Job description

The role supports the development, setup, and readiness of dark stores and retail/food locations. The engineer ensures each dark store is properly constructed, fully equipped, safe, and ready to operate. Responsibilities include regular site visits, following up on construction and fit‑out works, coordinating with contractors and internal teams, and verifying that locations meet technical and operational standards before launch. Frequent travel to various sites and a hands‑on approach to inspections, problem‑solving, and project follow‑up are required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience
• proficiency in AutoCAD
• working knowledge of 3D Max
• good command of English, both written and spoken
• good proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• basic knowledge of technical construction drawings, fit‑out works, and construction methods
• strong attention to detail and ability to identify construction defects and site issues
• good communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills
• willingness to travel frequently and conduct regular site visits.
