Construction Manager - MEP (PMC Background)

Job description

Oversee planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) works on a large infrastructure project in Riyadh. Represent the Client/PMC team and ensure safe, on‑time, on‑budget delivery in compliance with project specifications, international standards, and Saudi regulations. Lead construction management, monitor contractor performance, progress, productivity, and contractual compliance. Ensure work aligns with approved drawings, technical specs, quality standards, and milestones. Coordinate interfaces between MEP systems, civil works, structures, utilities, and other disciplines. Review and validate construction methods, work sequences, and installation plans. Act as Client representative on MEP matters, providing technical guidance to senior leadership. Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and testing procedures. Participate in commercial, contractual, and technical discussions; support claims evaluation, variation review, and dispute resolution. Ensure compliance with international codes, Saudi regulations, project specs, and HSE requirements. Lead inspections, audits, and quality reviews during construction and commissioning. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, contractors, utilities, and government authorities. Lead MEP progress meetings and interface workshops; prepare executive reports and presentations. Oversee MEP testing, commissioning, integrated system testing, and final handover; ensure defects are resolved. Review operation and maintenance manuals, training programs, and asset handover documentation
