About the Role: Join the employer team in Riyadh. Responsibility: Oversee all testing, pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities for renewable energy projects to ensure safe, timely energisation and handover per specifications. Duties: Lead and manage site‑wide testing for PV Solar, BESS and substations; develop and implement commissioning strategy, schedule, procedures and plan; coordinate activities across Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, I&C, SCADA and BESS systems; prepare and review commissioning procedures, method statements, checklists, test protocols and energisation plans; collaborate with Construction, Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Vendors, OEMs and subcontractors for readiness; monitor system completion, punch‑point clearance and turnover from construction to commissioning; coordinate testing of transformers, MV/HV switchgear, protection, cables, earthing, SCADA, PCS/inverters and BESS; liaise with grid operator/client for energisation, synchronization, grid compliance and performance testing; ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, IEC standards and client requirements; lead troubleshooting, identify technical issues and coordinate corrective actions; manage commissioning resources, equipment, test instruments and specialist vendors; track progress against schedule and implement recovery actions; document test results, commissioning records, punch lists and handover dossiers; lead final performance tests and support project handover to O&M; ensure strict adherence to electrical safety, LOTO, PTW and HSE requirements

Requirements

• lead and manage site‑wide testing
• proficient in developing and implementing commissioning strategy, schedule and procedures
• knowledge of coordinating Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, I&C, SCADA and BESS systems
• proficient in preparing and reviewing commissioning procedures, method statements, checklists and test protocols
• experience collaborating with Construction, Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Vendors, OEMs and subcontractors
• knowledge of monitoring system completion and punch‑point clearance
• proficient in coordinating testing of transformers, MV/HV switchgear, protection systems, cables, earthing, SCADA, PCS/inverters and BESS
• experience liaising with grid operator/client for energisation, synchronization, grid compliance and performance testing
• knowledge of compliance with approved drawings, project specifications and IEC standards
• proficient in troubleshooting, identifying technical issues and coordinating corrective actions
• experience managing commissioning resources, equipment, test instruments and specialist vendors
• proficient in tracking progress against schedule and implementing recovery actions
• knowledge of documenting test results, commissioning records, punch lists and handover dossiers
• proficient in leading final performance tests and supporting handover to O&M
• proficient in adhering to electrical safety, LOTO, PTW and HSE requirements
