MCX Solution Architect

Job description

The MCX Solution Architect at the employer defines and leads end-to-end design and deployment of mission-critical communication platforms. This permanent role is based in Riyadh and focuses on enterprise and industrial environments. It ensures high availability, low latency, and secure interoperability for global clients. Responsibilities include architecting Mission Critical Services (MCPTT/MCVideo/MCData) with QoS, priority, preemption, group communications, and service continuity. Developing comprehensive solution blueprints covering access network, transport, core, IMS/application layer, dispatch and recording systems, device ecosystems, and integration interfaces. Driving vendor selection, solution validation, and deployment governance with HLD/LLD documentation, integration planning, cutover strategies, and acceptance testing. Defining resilience architecture with geo-redundancy, active‑active/active‑standby configurations, disaster recovery, backup and restore, and observability frameworks. Establishing security‑by‑design principles and compliance for encryption, identity and key management, and auditability. Supporting the test team through ATP phases, defect qualification, and FAT/SAT readiness. Leading technical workshops with stakeholders and translating operational requirements into technical designs and structured delivery backlogs

Requirements

• More than 10 years of experience in a relevant field
• proficient in solution architecture for mission-critical communication platforms
• knowledge of MCPTT, MCVideo, MCData
• experience with QoS, priority and preemption
• knowledge of access, transport and core network architecture
• proficient in IMS/application layer
• experience with dispatch and recording systems
• proficiency in system integration and interface management
• knowledge of security-by-design principles, identity and key management
• experience with ATP, FAT and SAT testing
• ability to lead technical workshops and document high‑level and low‑level designs.
