Senior IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) Developer

Job description

the employer is a full‑stack sovereign AI delivery company operating from Riyadh with capabilities across the Kingdom and MENA. It serves government, energy, financial services, logistics and healthcare sectors. The role is for a Senior IBM BAW Developer to design, build and support enterprise business process automation solutions for a leading Saudi bank. The position is onsite in Riyadh for a 6‑month contract, extendable. Responsibilities include designing end‑to‑end workflows with IBM BAW/BPM, modeling processes using BPMN 2.0, integrating with core banking via REST/SOAP, configuring applications on WebSphere/Liberty, collaborating with analysts, performing unit and integration testing, supporting UAT and deployment, providing production support, and preparing technical documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years in BPM/workflow development with hands‑on IBM BAW
• prior experience delivering BPM solutions within a bank or financial institution (mandatory)
• strong knowledge of BPMN 2.0, Process Designer, Business Process Center, and Process Portal
• experience with Business Rules (ODM), coaches, human services, and case management
• proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and REST/SOAP integration
• working knowledge of WebSphere Application Server/Liberty and relational databases (SQL)
• strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• nice to have experience with Appian or other low‑the employer BPM platforms
• exposure to IBM Operational Decision Manager
• familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
• IBM BAW certification (optional)
