Chemical Analyst

Job description

Join House of Measurement in Riyadh as a Chemical Analyst. Responsible for operating and using chemical analysis instruments, preparing samples and standard solutions, conducting chemical tests according to approved procedures, implementing QA/QC processes, preparing accurate technical and laboratory reports, and performing basic operational maintenance of equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific field
• at least 5 years of hands‑on experience in chemical laboratories and analytical testing
• advanced knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
• familiarity with QA/QC procedures and verification of analytical results
• ability to prepare samples and standard solutions and perform chemical tests
• knowledge of instrument calibration, performance verification, and basic operational maintenance
• familiarity with method validation techniques and measurement uncertainty estimation
• ability to analyze results, interpret data, and produce precise reports
• excellent command of English, especially scientific terminology
• proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• preferably familiar with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
• commitment to chemical safety procedures and safe handling of materials and equipment.
