Manager - Medical Readiness & Training

Job description

The Medical Readiness & Training Manager is responsible for building and sustaining a city-wide culture of emergency preparedness at the employer. The role owns the full cycle of first aid and first responder training, certification compliance, emergency drill planning and evaluation, and event medical readiness. Working within healthcare operations, the Manager ensures that the employer’s workforce is continuously trained, certified, and operationally ready to respond to medical emergencies across all venues and activations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services, Paramedicine, Nursing, Public Health, or a related clinical discipline
• Valid SCFHS professional license in a relevant clinical category
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in emergency medical services, healthcare training, or mass gathering medicine, with at least 2–3 years in a training, education, or emergency preparedness role
