Nursing Supervisor

Job description

Leads the nursing team to ensure daily patient care based on individual needs. Provides medical and nursing care, offers advice and emotional support to patients and families, handles paperwork, assists physicians, and enforces infection control and hygiene standards. Manages stock levels and readiness of medical equipment and consumables in clinics. Orients newly recruited nurses, ensures daily nursing workforce availability, collaborates with the medical director for quality patient care, and conducts annual nurse appraisals. Tasks include disinfecting surfaces, greeting patients, documenting medical history, screening for fall and nutrition risks, triaging emergencies, dressing minor wounds, monitoring patients, preparing and administering IM/IV medications, escorting patients in ambulances, assisting physicians, withdrawing blood for labs, monitoring consumable stocks, and maintaining equipment inventory

Requirements

• Proficient in AWS cloud
• proficient in nursing care
• 5 years experience
• fluent in English and Arabic (speaking and writing)
• BSc in Nursing from a recognized college
• 2 years experience as a nurse manager in a clinical setting
• knowledge of Healthcare Information System
• knowledge of infection control procedures
• knowledge of inventory and consumable management
• experience in orienting new nurses and conducting annual performance appraisals
