They develop individualized intervention plans to improve verbal and non-verbal communication skills. This vital profession contributes to enhancing patients' quality of life and effectively integrating them into society. Typical duties of this profession: • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for each patient. • Monitor patient progress and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs. • Educate and counsel patients' families on communication support techniques at home

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Speech Disorders or Speech and Language
• valid professional classification from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
• effective communication and listening skills
• ability to clinically diagnose speech and language disorders
