Agent Engineer

Job description

We are a Saudi company built with Silicon Valley expertise, creating innovative Voice AI solutions. As an Agent Engineer you will design, configure, and improve voice AI agents that converse with clients' customers. You will lead client projects from discovery to go-live, build prompts and conversation flows, integrate agents with client systems, and continuously enhance performance based on real calls. You will work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Product teams and serve as the main client contact throughout delivery. Responsibilities include designing and refining prompts, integrating agents via APIs and webhooks, building proofs of concept, testing agents, owning end‑to‑end project delivery, gathering requirements, managing timelines and risks, analyzing calls to identify errors and patterns, improving prompts and flows, contributing to quality reports, and mentoring interns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• up to 2 years of relevant experience or relevant internships
• fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken
• excellent communication skills and confidence leading client conversations
• solid understanding of large language models and prompt engineering
• working knowledge of APIs, webhooks and JSON
• experience with a scripting language such as Python or JavaScript is a plus
• proven ability to manage projects or deliverables with clear ownership
