Mechanical Trainer

Job description

Deliver technical training in mechanical maintenance, rotating and static equipment, vibration analysis, and overhaul procedures. Develop and present training materials, practical demonstrations, and competency assessments. Ensure compliance with oil & gas industry standards and safety procedures. Maintain training records and provide feedback on trainee progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical/vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• High School or Vocational Diploma in Mechanical or related field
• Minimum 4 years of relevant Oil & Gas experience for degree holders
• Minimum 11 years of relevant Oil & Gas experience for non-degree holders
• Strong technical knowledge of rotating and static equipment maintenance
• Proficiency with compressors, gas and steam turbines, engines, gearboxes, mechanical seals, lubrication systems, and equipment alignment
• Knowledge of relief valves, valve actuators, MOV actuators, and vibration analysis
• Preferred Vibration Analysis Level I or OSHA certifications
• Experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemical industry
• English proficiency with IELTS 6.0 or equivalent TOEFL scores
• Strong communication and presentation skills for effective technical and practical training.
