Field Specialist

Job description

the employer is hiring a Field Specialist in the Eastern Province to operate and monitor coiled tubing units and control systems. Responsibilities include leading rig‑up, pressure testing, job execution, and rig‑down; monitoring real‑time parameters such as tubing depth, pump rates, and well pressure; performing pre‑job inspections, functional testing, and basic equipment troubleshooting; conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with the employer and customer HSE requirements; recording operational data and preparing accurate job reports; coordinating with customers, rig crews, and service providers for smooth operations; mentoring operators and junior staff while maintaining high operational standards

Requirements

• GIT
• compliance
• 7 years of experience
• minimum high school diploma (Bachelor in Engineering preferred)
• at least 5 years experience as field specialist or field engineer in coiled tubing operations
• strong knowledge of coiled tubing equipment and pressure control equipment (BOPs, stripper, lubricator)
• strong knowledge of nitrogen pumping and well intervention operations
• strong knowledge of HSE procedures and risk management
