Senior Pega Engineer

Job description

The Senior Pega Engineer role involves designing, developing, and implementing Pega applications in line with business requirements and best practices. Collaborates with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. Troubleshoots technical issues to ensure application efficiency. Develops and maintains technical documentation of system configurations, processes, and workflows. Mentors junior developers on Pega standards and best practices. Participates in code reviews to ensure development quality. Stays current with the latest Pega releases and integrates new features as appropriate. Works with the QA team to ensure application quality through testing and bug resolution. Contributes to architectural discussions and implementation strategies for new Pega solutions. Ensures compliance with security standards in all Pega applications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Pega development and implementation
• Strong knowledge of Pega PRPC and working experience with Pega 8.x versions
• Experience designing and implementing Pega applications using BPM and Case Management capabilities
• Familiarity with integration techniques within Pega, including REST and SOAP APIs
• Solid understanding of various Pega rules, data types, and UI components
• Proficiency in configuring Pega security, user roles, and access controls
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
• Pega certification (PCSA or higher) preferred
• Ability to mentor and guide junior developers
• Constellation Architecture experience preferred
• Arabic speaking is a plus
